My Only Book

I really cannot say that I read very often. I guess if I had to choose one book it would be my scrapbook. I would have to carry something around that related to me to motivate to me to keep moving on. I know that it would not relate to other people in future generations, but at least they would be able to see that I was able to survive and they would know who I was. If I were in the same situation as Eli I would need something to look at to remind me about a better time. I would need motivation to make sure that I would be able to survive so that I could share something with the future generation. I would need to carry something around that was real, and I feel like a scrapbook would be something helpful to me.

Halloween

I used to really enjoy Halloween when I was a kid. The idea of getting a pillow case full of candy was very exciting. I have not gone trick or treating in about eight years. I guess I just felt like I was getting too old to go around and get candy, especially when there are more little kids that I would rather have the fun. My best memories of Halloween were running around with my friends, going house to house, and getting as much candy as possible. I always hated that one person that would give out something healthy instead of candy. It was always fun going trick or treating though. Halloween was an excuse to dress up and be as scary as possible and to go around and scare other people. I still like the old scary movies that come on during Halloween time each year.

A Change for Wright State

There really is not anything that comes to mind right away that I would like to change. I basically have everything I need on campus. I guess one thing that I would try and change is the payments for books. I feel like the books should be included in our tuition rather then students scrambling to pay four hundred dollars on books. I just figure that if Wright state can give me an eight hundred dollar meal plan, they should be able to include books in tuition. It just would have been nice to not have to worry about getting the money to pay for my books when everything else is paid of with loans, grants, or scholarships. I enjoy mostly everything Wright State has to offer but I just do not understand why books are not included in the tuition.

Revision Process

Revising my papers through peer edits and professor edits has helped me a lot. It's nice to receive constructive criticism in order to make my writing more academic. In high school, we did not do nearly as much revising with our papers. Having students and professors look over my writing is a great way to insure that my writing is the best that it can be. If I did not have anyone to look of over my drafts, I would make many more mistakes. I like writing rough drafts and revising them so I can see exactly what I am doing wrong. Also, I like to help others out with their papers. Overall, I believe that the revision process is very helpful.
